The first time I met with Lauren & Patrick, I knew we were going to have a lot of fun planning and enjoying their wedding.
Lauren and Patrick wed at the beautiful Glen Ellen Farm in Ijamsville, Maryland. The venue was set amongst rolling hills on a perfect 70-degree day in October. Gorgeous hand-lettered signs by Bare Ink Co welcomed guests to the venue. The couple had their first look in a field of flowers and exchanged their vows under an arch Patrick built overlooking a lake. As the couple and their bridal party recessed down the aisle their guests waved American flags an homage to Patrick’s time spent serving in the Marines.
Their cocktail hour took place in bar ruins, complete with a bonfire, yard games, and a beautiful settee. After cocktails the night moved into the tent complete with whimsical draping installation by Fabrication Events. Mini cupcakes were available for guests to enjoy. The couple danced the night away with their band Llyod Dobler Effect, and the father of the bride surprised the crowd by playing a drum set with the band.
Congrats again love birds!
Their wedding was also featured on MidAtlantic Bride.
