The chilly temps have me dreaming of summer days filled with sweet tea and sundresses. Tie One On Dc incorporated these elements and in celebration of Pike Productions rebrand, I wanted to share this spectacular event. Bruce Pike of Pike Productions is always rocking the best bow ties and wanted to celebrate national bow tie day with this fun event that took place at the Decatur House. I was so happy to have been part of the coordination of this event (major hats off to Carly of Pike Productions for the event planning).
Rouge Fine Catering featured southern fare including fried chicken sliders, shrimp etouffee, Chesapeake oyster Rockefeller, and a mint julep bar. Gorgeous draping and furniture that transformed Decatur’s courtyard into Antebellum perfection. Other delights included many fabulous vendors selling bowties and accessories, bow tie manicures from Coat Room, a cigar bar, Old Forester bourbon tastings and of course great music from Pike Productions. Upon exiting the event guests received fabulous swag bags and an ice cream cone from Westray’s Finest Ice Cream truck.
Thanks again Bruce, Carly, and all the wonderful vendors for letting me be part of this fabulous event! Thank you, Rodney Bailey for capturing these spectacular images!
