Katie & Mike – Dulaney's Overlook

It was an absolute pleasure working with Katie & Mike. They were such a kind, genuine, and sweet couple. RGE Kristen was the lead for their wedding which was featured in the Frederick News Post. 
From The Frederick News Post –
Katie and Mike met in February 2012 at a Team River Runner kayak session at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Mike, a wounded Army Combat Medic, was attending the session as a participant while Katie was there as a volunteer, helping to teach wounded service members the sport of kayaking.

“Over the next year, we built the foundation of our relationship traveling around whitewater kayaking together. I wasn’t interested in a relationship, Mike was persistent and after spending all of our free-time together I finally caved, and ended up asking Mike out.”
155 guests were in attendance for their outdoor ceremony at Dulaney’s Overlook, including six bridesmaids and five groomsmen. “We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect celebration of us and our love,” shared Katie.”
 
We loved how Katie & Mike’s pup, Penny,  escorted Mike down the aisle and was part of their special day.
