I love the water. Being by it, looking at it, being in it, is pure bliss, maybe it’s the Aquarius in me. When Joy of Joy Michelle Photography reached out to me to start brainstorming our next collaboration (completely in love with our Coradetti shoot) and mentioned a waterfront Annapolis location, I was hooked. See what I did there.
Besides that pun, this shoot differed from the standard nautical stripes, anchors, and seaside cliches. We had a color palette of oyster shell gray and muted blues and greens reminiscent of sea glass. Our bride was more boho and shops at Anthropologie which was evident through vintage furniture, a stunning pearl ring from Trumpet and Horn, and loose bridal waves that were later plaited and adorned with a crystal headpiece.
The vendors on this shoot were absolutely magical and we wouldn’t have landed the lovely 10-page spread in Whats Up magazine without all of their talents. Real life couple Jordan and Q brought the romance to this seaside shoot.
